The Hon. andrew Robb AO
Throughout his illustrious career in Australian politics Mr. Robb spent time working as Assistant Minister for Immigration and Multicultural Affairs and then Minister for Vocational and Further Education. He was also elected as Shadow Minister for Foreign Affairs, Shadow Minister for Infrastructure and Climate Change, Chairman of the Coalition Policy Development Committee and Shadow Minister for Finance, Deregulation and Debt Reduction. During this time, he also negotiated Free Trade Agreements with South Korea, Japan and China, as well as the 12 country Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP) free trade agreement.
In 2013, following the Coalitions successful election, Mr Robb was appointed to the Cabinet as Minister for Trade, Investment and Tourism. A role that Mr Robb maintained until his retirement from Australian politics in 2016.
Prior to politics, Mr Robb worked as an animal health officer and then as an agricultural economist. In the 80s, Mr Robb was appointed Executive Director of the Cattle Council Australia and subsequently, Executive Director of the National Farmer’ Federation.
In retirement, Mr Robb is the Chairman of The Robb Group, an investment and corporate advisory body and sits on the board of Kidman Cattle Enterprise, CNSDose, Mind Medicine Australia, CLARA, CDMA and provides strategic advice to Seafarms Ltd, in addition to many other businesses across Australia and around the world.
